Repair Shop goes on the road

Repair Shop’s Will Kirk brushed up his marquetry skills when he visited our font cover maker Victoria Walpole as part of a new series highlighting the talents of regional artisans.

Will was highly impressed with the font cover (left with Victoria). She showed him how to cut veneers to make the often highly detailed work she produces. The programme - Repair Shop on the Road - was in the northeast to record items for the programme, available here.
