Advent is a time of waiting and anticipation. And perhaps thinking…

… that if Queen Victoria hadn’t married Prince Albert, and if Charles Dickens hadn’t written A Christmas Carol, what would Christmas look like now?

If there were three Wise Women would they have asked directions, arrived on time, delivered the baby, cleaned the stable, made a casserole..?

Whatever. We’d still have the best Christmas present of all time.
